For the love of it
I first joined Success some 13 years ago and, in that time, have always recruited graduate and assistant-level candidates across buying and merchandising. I can honestly say I have never regretted my decision to leave my buying days behind me. There’s nothing more gratifying than successfully matching people’s needs, requirements, hopes and dreams.
Speaking of dreams… what’s next for me?
On the 22nd April 2018 I’ll be running the London Marathon for Macmillan… all 26.2 miles! Never would I have imagined or even suggested putting myself through such a physical and mental challenge, but when I returned to work having been away for what seemed like forever – recovering from breast cancer – I knew it was the only way to get me back on track.
I was very fortunate to be back at my desk with the same familiar faces in the office, doing the job I loved – but I also needed a new focus in life.
Running for Macmillan
To be given the opportunity to run the London Marathon for Macmillan is an honour. It’s a privilege to help fund raise for such an important charity, and one that will always be close to my heart. It will be my way of saying a big “thank you” for the relentless support and guidance provided by all those involved!
