My client is one of the largest UK home furnishing and service providers to property professionals nationwide. They design bespoke furniture ranges and install custom made stylish bedrooms and kitchens.
As a supply chain coordinator you will administer all aspects of project stock replenishment as delegated to maintain optimal stock levels.
Reporting into the Project Stock Supervisor you will be responsible for:
- administering the processes, procedures, systems, reporting, communication & stakeholder engagement relating to purchasing, transferring, and returning project stock as delegated
- to maintain optimal current & future levels across all warehouse locations
- to meet known & expected demand with appropriate contingency
- within commercial, operational, regulatory, and resource constraints, and for productively delivering all other Stock team functions specified in the Inventory Department Purpose Document relating to project stock as delegated, to comply with policy and achieve overall business aims.
You must have:
2 years’ experience of stock/inventory management and a basic understanding of best practice and regulations. Record of using skill & judgement to manage stock effectively to meet complex & changing demand within commercial & operational constraints.
Basic understanding of an ERP or stock management system preferred, ideally Dynamics (NAV). Experience of WMS preferred. Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 application suite required including good Excel skills. Experience of using purchasing systems and reporting.
