A superb opportunity as E Commerce Manager for a fast growing, creative, design led premium retail gifting brand. In this very exciting role as E Commerce Manager, you will manage the day to day running of the Online store ensuring smooth online operations, constant optimisation of on-site user experience and merchandising.
In the role of E Commerce Manager, you will monitor on-site performance of the online shop to ensure trading is smooth, raising issues & bugs on site with developers and ensuring the look and feel of the site is up to date and seasonally relevant
With one direct report, you will analyse sales trends and maximise commerciality of site through strong merchandising. Drive the on-site experience forward for the brand so that it supports growth and business objectives. Managing roadmap with the development agency ensuring tasks are delivered to schedule and working closely with the CRO agency to optimise the usability and experience on site through an A/B testing programme.
As E Commerce Manager you will manage the development budget and deliver large scale e-commerce and digital projects to help push the business forward and ensure the .com business is strong, stable and forward thinking: You will also champion projects, leading on website refresh, exploring roll out of a App or PWA and oversee and manage the technical eco system including integrated till system, stock management system and dispatch systems.
We’re looking for an innovative individual with proven experience in a similar role in another retail business. Must be hands on, so the ability to get stuck in is a must! Someone who can juggle the technical with a bit of the creative.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in website management, with Magento 2 experience
And digital project management, preferably experience with website redesigns/refreshes, A/B on-site testing and On-site merchandising
Experience with WordPress and app development would be advantagous.
